Infant Rooms

6 Weeks - 18 Months

We know leaving your child in someone else's care can be tough. That's why we are here to help that transition go smoothly. Our 2 infant rooms provide a safe place to help meet your child's needs as they transition through different milestones in their first year. Every infant room has 1 teacher to every 4 children. Each room is personalized to meet your child's specific needs and schedule.

Infant Room

6 Weeks - 9 Months

Our infant room focuses on the beginning months of your little one's life. We are focused on their personal schedules of eating, sleeping, and play time. That way it is a smooth transition from our care to home. Our teachers are doing a lot of talking, singing, and making silly faces. As your child starts to crawl and move more, they transition to our crawler room. We also always keep you in the loop with our communication through Brightwheel.

A Day In the Infant Room

Every infant's schedule is personalized off your feeding schedule you provide us. Other important parts of the day include naps, play time, working on building those tiny muscles for big movements, and of course some time to cuddle.

Room Activities

Everything is new to babies so we are here to encourage their natural curiosity. We do this by having discovery toys to explore. Our staff also plays lots of music, talks to your child, and makes silly faces throughout the day.

Crawler Room

9 Months - 18 Months

Our crawler room starts to give your child a little bit more room to move around. We start to help them reach their next stage in their developmental goals, like getting ready to take their first big steps. We start to build more independence with table foods (when you feel they are ready). We also start to do some more fine motor activities and crafts.

A Day in the Crawler Room

Your child's feeding schedule is still personalized based on their needs. When you feel they are ready, we can start to incorporate table foods and whole milk. Other parts of their day will include new discovery buckets, group time, and outdoor time (if weather allows).

Playing with Toys

Room Activities

Room activities throughout the day include a lot of exploring, singing songs, and talking. Our teachers work with your child to teach sign language to communicate their needs. We also start to have monthly themes around colors, songs, and shapes to start to introduce concepts to your child.

Crawler Curriculum

We start to personalize learning based on the Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines. They have 7 main focuses that we will continue to develop throughout their time with us.
